Newsquest has released its July - Dec 2012 ABC website audit which reports that a daily average of 520,256 unique visitors accessed our network of 144 local news and information sites, year-on-year growth of 15.8% (ABC July-Dec 2011: 449,121).
The average number of monthly visitors increased 9.8% to 9,124,606 accessing our network during the period – a year-on-year growth of 9.8% (July-Dec 2011: 8,306,468).

Early in 2012 Newsquest Digital successfully introduced a method of targeting adverts, based on the weather.
Newsquest have successfully delivered a number of Meteotargeted campaigns since the launch. Local advertisers have said "The response to the adverts has been incredible" National advertisers have seen a 5 times higher CTR, and Newsquest facilitated a programmatic buy - allowing advertisers to react quickly and make use of regional differences and rapid changes to the weather . The Met Office are now launching a targeting tool for retailers later this year. The online tool will offer forecast information which would allow retailers and brands to develop weather and location-targeted short-period events that are not possible using general weather forecasts. Newsquest Media Group today released its January - June 2012 ABC website audit which reports that a daily average of 499,292 unique visitors accessed its network of 158 local media brand sites – year-on-year growth of 9.4% (Jan-Jun 2011: 456,230).
The variety of devices being used to access Newsquest regional and local content continues to increase, with more than a quarter of visitors (25.9%) using smart phone and tablet devices in June 2012 -- up from 10.6% at the end of last year’s January – June reporting period.

Newsquest Media Group today released its July-December 2011 website audit which reveals that a monthly average of 8,306,468 unique visitors accessed its network of 158 local media brand sites – year-on-year growth of 11.5% (Jul-Dec 2010: 7,450,271).

Newsquest Media Group today released its January-June 2011 website audit which reveals that a monthly average of 8,525,236 unique visitors accessed its network of 158 local media brand sites during the period – a year-on-year growth of 31.7% (Jan-June 2010: 6,472,972).
